Women Moving Forward in Business is a networking group for women starting up or already running businesses in the Salcombe and Kingsbridge area of Devon.
We are a friendly, informal group and any local business women are welcome.
- loads of mutual support
- training sessions
- as well as regular social events and networking meetings
We love to see new members so please feel free to get in touch or come along. E mail us to get more information, or just turn up at our next meeting. It is free to join this social media site so you can get in contact with other business women in the area and post your profile and information about your business on line.
It is also free to come along to your first networking meeting so you can see what we have to offer. If you want to come to further networking meetings and access the other benefits of membership, we charge £25 for a years membership, or £5 per meeting if you would prefer to attend on an occasional basis.
We had an interesting, informative and fun time at our Development Day. Two very interesting talks on branding and selling on line, a circle of excellence and a lovely relaxing time de-stressing before volunteers were wrapped in tin foil! We finished with learning about colour and useful tips on window dressing.
We welcomed 2 new ladies to the event, Fiona Wadey and Katherine Millman from Bartons Solicitors in Kingsbridge.
Everyone was asked if they would be willing to volunteer to come onto the committee and so the new committee list is as follows:
Chair: Sally Hurst
Secretary: Sue Gulcher
Treasurer: Mel Pope
Booking Venues: Marilu Wren & Suzanne Stewart
New Members, Recruitment & Welcome: Janet Leonard & Anna Kalnars

Our first Autumn meeting will be on Tuesday 20th September at 6.00pm at The Crabshell. Please bring along your products/services that is a representation of your business so we can all get a better idea of what we all do. The room will be set out with tables. At this meeting we ask that everyone brings along a friend (female) to the meeting.
