 hosting a l**etter-writing lunch on behalf of Sakineh Ashtiani**\, an Iran
 ian woman who will soon hang after being convicted of adultery. Originally
  sentenced to death by stoning for the murder of her husband\, she was **a
 cquitted after the lack of evidence was brought to international attention
  by human rights groups.** It was recently revealed that the judiciary hav
 e ruled that her other charge\, that of adultery\, will be punished by han
 ging instead.  \n  \n**Letter-writing campaigns have long used by Amnesty 
 International to put pressure on authorities to release prisoners or commu
 te sentences.** Please bring your lunch and come to visit us between 1 and
  3pm to write to Ashtiani or the prison authorities – it won’t take you to
