UKYCC Membership Registration 2012-2013

Wednesday, 18th January 2012 at 12am - 11:30pm Wednesday, 29th February

This event is in the past.

NB:  The current end date for membership registration has been set as this is the last date that new members will be able to join in time to vote at our AGM.

Becoming a member of UKYCC gives you a real say in the way UKYCC goes forward and helps make us a stronger, more accountable, more legitimate and a more sustainable organisation.

We know that young people care about climate change. It’s our future after all. But at the same time we know that life is pretty tough at the moment and not everyone has the time to give to big campaigns and projects.

This is a perfect way to be part of a growing movement of young people and have a say in way we work but with a very limited commitment and contribution
.

What being a member gives you:

  • A vote in the annual election of the Co-Directors.
  • The opportunity to be part of our discussions and debates as we develop our plans for the yeas to come,
  • An invite to all our Member events and socials throughout the year.
  • A quarterly report from the Co-Directors giving an insiders view to UKYCC and what we’re up to.

What being a member gives us:

  • You are legally liable for the UKYCC but only for between £1-£10.
  • You elected the Co-Directors annually
  • You can get rid of the Directors if they do something terrible!
  • You shape the future of the organisation
  • You contribute £2 annually which is your nominal share in UKYCC.
  • You must be aged between 18-29 on the day of joining.
  • You must be a British citizen or living, working, or studying in the UK

By purchasing this membership I confirm that I have read the UKYCC's Memorandum of Association and fully accept the legal rights and obligations associated with becoming a member of the UK Youth Climate Coalition
