Oops - Revisions

E-mail sent by Khadeejah binti Abdul Halim, Wednesday, 30th September 2015 @ 10:31pm

Some revisions for you all.

Auditions for the Freshers' plays will take place this coming Saturday and Sunday.

It is recommended that you audition on Saturday, since it will likely be quieter than Sunday, when we all expect a heaving mass of Freshers to audition either during the Fayre or after the Welcome meeting.

If a significant chunk of those who wish to audition do so on Saturday, there will be more time for all who audition.

The location of the Saturday auditions is the CSC Rehearsal Room on the 1st Floor of the Bloomsbury Building. (Bloomsbury Theatre building) they will take place from 14:00-18:30

On Sunday the location is at first in the same place as Saturday. This will be the case from 12:00 - 16:00.

After this the auditions will be held in Cruciform Lecture Theatre 1 (LT1) from 19:00 - 21:00

Do forgive my transgression, and farewell!

Greetings, Initial Fresh Ones

Dramatic Decisions Made... And reminders

E-mail sent by Khadeejah binti Abdul Halim, Wednesday, 23rd September 2015 @ 2:54pm

The glory of the Drama Society will remain true and shining, as much has happened in the past two days that is worth a hefty email of excellent opportunity, decisions and reminders.

The first committee meeting did occur just this previous Tuesday evening, and enthusiasm and goodness gushed forth like a big, theatrical burst pipe, to the point that poor sweet Jack's fingers did ache with all the minutes he took.

Let me dazzle you further with actual content now -

E-mail sent by Khadeejah binti Abdul Halim, Monday, 7th September 2015 @ 2:09pm

Greetings Friends!

This is a last minute reminder to all who are considering bidding for the plays which are most fresh.

The deadline to give in your applications is at midnight on 9th September. That leaves you a day and a half left to submit - not so little time that you have to panic, but just enough to force an anxious chill down your spine!

Do not sit and chillax to the point that such a glorious opportunity passes you by, 'twould break my wee heart.

Until the next brief reminder,

Lovely Drama people, hope you're all having a wonderful summer! I'm sure you've been missing your regular thespy update so read on to find out more about our three shows over summer and if you want to bid to direct next term!

Firstly though, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank last year's committee for all their hard work over the past academic year, which has been hugely successful and great fun. Thanks in particular to our outgoing president Grace!

On that note, welcome to our new committee! Here's to another great year for Drama Soc. In future you'll be receiving emails from the wonderful eccentric that is Jack Tivey but your stuck with me for now; I'm Matt your new President. I'm really excited about the year ahead and hope that the society gives you a great experience - please don't hesitate to get in touch with me with any ideas you have or just if you want to say nice things to me :)
