Having successfully organised the UCL Finance Conference 2010 which had over 500 applications for 200 places, and the UCL Finance Conference 2011 which had over 700 applications for the same number of places. The UCLU Investment Society looks to build on the past successful conferences to develop the leading student finance conference in Europe.
Using the experience gained from launching the inaugural conference, the UCLU Investment Society initiated an internship scheme for the 2011 conference where Trafalgar Asset Managers, Serone Capital Management, Tarchon Capital Management & MarketInvoice Limited offered delegates of the conference the chance to gain summer 2011 internships with them.
Turning to 2012, we aim to make the conference bigger and better by continuing to attract the highest profile speakers, by making the sessions more interactive and by expanding the internship scheme in London and in Emerging Markets!!
