ClickUni is a young and dynamic start-up formed by students at Oxford University to facilitate online communication within student communities and provide services to the student market. ClickUni.com fills a gap left by the rise of popular social networking websites, providing a platform for collaboration, community building and time saving for students and related organisations. The trial at Oxford University this year was successful and saw over 100 clubs and societies register in the first 6 days following launch with well over 200 having registered to date.

We are now looking for a talented, driven developer to join the team as we implement more of our ideas and expand our range of services and coverage. Applicants should have advanced experience in web development with PHP, knowledge of frameworks and understanding of object orientated design. You should be able to take responsibility for the research, design and creation of complex web-based systems. An interest in current web trends and cutting edge technologies is highly desirable, as is current or recent experience of the student market. You should be excited by the potential for what you can create and driven to ensure the success of the project.

The position will initially require a part-time commitment, working from your own location, and can be flexible to suit your other commitments. We welcome applications from entrepreneurial graduates and current students. Periodic meetings with the rest of the team will be required - applicants should ideally be located within reasonable travelling distance of Oxford/London.
