The Sydney University United Nations Society (SUUNS) promotes awareness of the UN’s ideals, objectives and activities. SUUNS’ primary activity is Model UN. SUUNS sends delegations to major international conferences; our delegation to the Asia-Pacific Model UN Conference (AMUNC) has been awarded ‘best delegation’ for the past three years.
Additionally, SUUNS hosts its own conferences; Schools MUN for high school students and SydMUN, for tertiary students from Australia and beyond. SUUNS will also host AMUNC 2010. Additionally SUUNS holds a number of speaker and social events.
