Using Club Equipment
If you wish to use club equipment you must be a fully paid member of the club. Equipment should be signed out by a member of the committee and returned promptly after used. Ensure dust caps are dried and fitted to regulators, all cleaned with fresh water and any damage reported to the equipment officer.
*Remember* Club Equipment should be looked after, handled with care and well maintained. Failure to do so could result in an accident.
It is recommended that you obtain your own equipment, such as BCD, regulators, weights. At the very least you will require a suit (semi-dry or dry-suit), gloves, hood, fins and booties. Second hand equipment is often sold within the club, check the members only forum for this.
For qualified divers, as well as the above equipment it is recommended that you have the following;
DSMB and reel
Spares kit (e.g. Beaver 'Save a dive' kit)
Tool kit (allan keys and adjustable spanners)
While these are not essential, they make for a more relaxed diving experience along with providing opportunities to train using this equipment.
