Aberystwyth University Sub Aqua club is very fortunate to be beside the sea. A popular dive site is Castle Rocks, situated south-west of the 13th century Edwardian Fortress, Castell Aberystwyth. A short surface swim is required to get to the entrance point where one can descend to the dizzy depths of 6 meters. If the sea has been particularly calm for a few days expect good visibility and plenty of wild life. Watch out for spider crabs, they can pinch quite hard!
Webcams: Might save you going all the way to the beach to find that the sea is too rough :-)
