A keen SCUBA diver since his PADI course in Thailand, Martin has been an active member of the club for the past three years. The 2011/2012 academic year will be his fourth year in the club and his third year as a committee member. After completing his Dive Leader and IFC qualification he is now working towards his instructor qualifications to become an OWI for the 2011/2012 academic year.

Hannah is a third year student reading Marine and Freshwater Biology. She is currently completing her open water dives and hopes to be a fully qualified Ocean Diver soon, all thanks to the Aberystwyth Sub-Aqua club. She thoroughly enjoyed the 2011 trip to Malta (with her first ever dives!) and cannot wait for the next trip to be arranged by the club.
Matt is a Southampton University graduate who is now a Ph.D student at Aberystwyth he divides his time between the Centre for Glaciology and River Basin Dynamics and Hydrology Research Group. Ben is a second year student reading Physical Geography. He is a BSAC Ocean Diver, though is hoping to qualify as a Sports Diver and get his IFC so he can help out in the pool. He has thoroughly enjoyed both Easter trips that he has been to (Egypt and Malta), and is fondly remembered for his style of entering the water from the top deck of a boat. He hope that the expeditions that he organises this year will be just as remembered.
Natalie Rose Crabb is currently a third year student studying Marine and Freshwater Biology and has left her position of secretary to enjoy her third year to the max as one of the social secretaries. She loves the club very much and doesn't think anything can top 2011's trip to Malta which was her first diving experience :) In her final year she hopes to become a qualified sports diver so she can then progress to other diving skills such as wreck diving and underwater photography :)
