SPEAK is a national network of students who campaign and pray on issues of global injustice, linking people together and resourcing them to use their voice to call for change. Recent campaigns have focused on corporate accountability, the arms trade, and trade justice.
We currently meet on a Monday evening to share a meal, pray, study the Bible and take action to tackle injustice around the world. Our aim is to build a community of like-minded people who want to see their faith lived out in bringing change to situations of injustice.
We're always open to new people and new ideas, so do come along if you have a passion for any justice-related issues!

Posted by Felicity Loudon, Sunday 8th March 2009 @ 8:25pm As a way of rounding off this term's look at human trafficking, we'll be having some food and then heading off to a talk by Mike Kim, author of 'Escaping North Korea' and founder of an organisation dedicated to helping North Korean refugees, many of whom are escaping from sex traffickers.
