Hello all.
Hope you all had a good holiday (or 'vacation', as our University would have it). Anyway. Have got some interesting news for you.
Basically there are a couple of interesting conferences coming up - one, the annual EFPSA congress (European Federation of Psychology Student Assocations), on the theme of 'Free Your Mind'. This will be held in the Netherlands, and take place in a huge castle, full of other Psychology students from all over Europe. Would be a fantastic trip and I am currently in talks with Pete Clifton in maybe securing some funding for it (either partial subsidy or full, we'll see). For more information:
Congress website: www.efpsa.org/congress2010
EFPSA website: www.efpsa.org
Facebook: 24th EFPSA Congress The Netherlands - Free Your Mind
Email address: congress2010@efpsa.org

Also, the informed among you shall know that the British Psychology Society has its own division for members - the Student Members Group you can find their page here, as part of can find it on the BPS website - www.bps.org.uk - lots of interesting stuff on there). They are holding their next Annual Conference at Stratford-upon-Avon on Friday 16th April. Also in talks over securing funding for this. Will keep you all posted on what happens from these talks.
Lastly there's obviously our trip to Amsterdam. Check out the facebook group for info on this. http://www.facebook.com/#/group.php?gid=196095999820&ref=ts ;
Any questions ask Tom on that page
Any questions you know what to do.

I expect you all to come along - will be great!!!

Morning all,
Stop working on that lab report for a sec, and listen up.
Next big thing is Christmas Party - cheap tickets; all revenue generated from these going behind the bar to last for as long as it can - taking place at a yet-to-be-disclosed location..
What else?
Seen the law society's 'dam getaway?
Us too!
We fancy a bit of that too, so will have something similar for you soon hopefully.
Keep watching =)
Keep working hard, hope it's all going well!

Hello all.
Latest announcement? I'm looking into getting things started - so, in the case of volunteering, if you want to join in our societies' link up project (where we help as a society in the local community), then you need to let me know!! - I only have 4 names down at the moment!!
If people want to do it, don't let me know, then come back a week later and say ' I want to do it now', it's a pain in the arse!
So tell me now if ya can!!
