About this group

Oxford Young Professional Society is an established society open to all young professionals in Oxford, UK.

The society’s aim is to provide a forum for young professionals to meet & network on a regular social basis to develop contacts and working relationships in Oxford.

Founded by four professional firms, the society is managed by a local committee.

Members can share experiences, network and simply enjoy socialising with their peers. The Society provides:

  • access to local contacts in a broad range of professions
  • organised events ranging from cocktail nights to balls and boat trips
  • practical talks on life and business issues

NEW STARTERS EVENT this Thursday 

Thursday 13 October, All Bar One, from 6.30pm
  • Help us welcome in the new OYPS year with this free event.
  • All members and non-members welcome - please spread the word.
  • Nibbles and a drink provided.
  • Deluxe goodie bags for the first 50 people to complete a new starters application form.
  • Come and find out what we're about and what we have planned for the next year.
  • Sign up for annual membership (just £15!) and take advantage of advance ticket offers for forthcoming events.
Do you want a classy OYPS event? Then come to the Summer Ball! In the meantime...

Thursday 27 October, Oxford Greyhound Stadium, Cowley
7pm (first race 7.25pm)
£10 members, £12 non members includes:
  • Admission and 3 hours of racing - a race every 15 minutes.
  • Race programme - details of the dogs, race form and top tips.
  • Drink - Carling, Smirnoff Ice or Pepsi.
  • Trackside meal - southern fried chicken or scampi and chips.
  • £2 tote lucky dip bet.
  • Closing date for ticket purchases Thursday 20 October.
  • Tickets on sale now via PayPal on www.oyps.org, cash accepted at the new starters event, or send a cheque payable to OYPS to Chris Kowal, Portfolio Manager, Specialised Relationship Management Lombard, RBS UK, Ground Floor Willow Court, 7 West Way Minns Park, Botley, Oxford OX2 0JB.
