We are the University's largest non-auditioning choir, performing a classical choral work every term, in venues such as the Sheldonian Theatre, and often with some of Oxford's finest soloists and orchestral musicians.
We rehearse Wednesday evenings during term and offer a great opportunity for anyone to get involved in singing large-scale choral works.
As per usual, an email with a couple of brief reminders:
Rehearsal this Wednesday will be in the Corpus Christi Auditorium at 19:00-21:00
We will be doing a full run through of the score, so do have another listen to the piece and the midi files
The start of the rehearsal will be led by possible future conductors. You will be able to vote for your preference in the break. This will be an indicative vote, which the committee will take into consideration in the final decision. Only those who are present in the rehearsal will get to vote – so please try and be there to have your say over next year’s conductor!
If you will be attending the concert and you want your name to be shown on the programme, please fill in this form.
With the concert getting closer, we’re looking forward to seeing you all on Wednesday to pull it all together.
