Speaker: Shirin Saeidi
Shirin Saeidi is an Iranian American feminist and a fellow at the Centre of Gender Excellence in Sweden. She has completed her doctoral research at the University of Cambridge. This research addressed gender and state formation in post-revolutionary Iran. Her broader research concentrates on gender, sexuality, and political violence in the Middle East. She has published on the legacies of the Iran-Iraq war in the journal Citizenship Studies and has over a decade of teaching experience.
