As Social Secretary I have appreciated the effort that goes into creating a great term. Law Soc has an extremely good formula, however, there is a need to keep the society fresh and ensure law firms and members remain interested in events. As VP I would like to bring more focus to debates and lectures, particularly from barristers, which would provide a fresh change from the tedium of 40 minute advertisements from city law firms. Socially I would look to continue the much-loved traditional events whilst building on the new ideas that have really brightened up the term card.
