1. BALL BALLOTThe ballot was open yesterday between 10am and 4pm. However, last Sunday's bulletin wrongly stated the ballot would be accepting entries today. We realise that some members will have missed out and for this reason the ballot will reopen tomorrow between 12 noon and 1pm at http://www.oxfordlawsoc.com/ball. It will be drawn at 6pm tomorrow as planned in Exeter College JCR (although there is no requirement for you to attend). |

2. LAW FOR NON LAWYERSAn invaluable presentation for all non-law students interested in becoming a lawyer. Law is a career which welcomes all degree disciplines, which is why Eversheds are coming to talk to non lawyers about the process of entering the profession. They will discuss the recruitment process, the nature of the work in a City law firm and the transferable skills needed in pursuing a successful career in law. Venue: Balliol College (may change - check the reminder email on Tuesday morning)
