DEADLINE EXTENDED TO SUNDAY OF 5TH Calling all budding writers! How would you like to see your work published? Verdict Magazine, Oxford Law Society’s legal magazine, is launching its termly essay competition to find the best student writing for its latest issue. Not only will the winning essays be published in this term’s issue, out in 8th week of Trinity, but the winner will also win a CASH PRIZE of £150, with the runner up receiving £50. Essays can be on any topic of current general or social interest, preferably from a legal perspective. The best entries will be those that are original, thought-provoking and likely to spark discussion! Entries must be between 1200 and 3000 words in length. The deadline for submissions is 18th May (Sunday of 5th week) so get thinking and writing! All entries should be sent as an attachment to william.haig@new.ox.ac.uk Good luck!
