ANTHONY JULIUS TODAY

Anthony Julius is a lawyer, author and father of five. He received a first-class degree from Cambridge in English Literature and has a PhD from UCL. He is a full-time consultant at the London law firm, Mischon de Reya, and was head of its litigation department for many years. Among his clients, he acted for Deborah Lipstadt in the Irving Holocaust denial case.

He will be talking about the different legal and philosophical perspectives on blasphemy and pornography in a broad historical context.
