1. DEMYSTIFYING THE AMERICAN LAW FIRM

Thinking about becoming a lawyer in a US law firm? Kirkland & Ellis LLP make their debut appearence for Oxford Law Soc and will expel some of the myths about working in a US firm. Hear about their history, their business today and what makes a successful lawyer. A free buffet will be provided.

Venue: Baring Room, Hertford College (members are asked to enter the college via the red gate on Holywell Street, opposite Holywell's, and follow the signs)

2. COCKTAILS AT ESCAPE

Another one of our amazing socials. This is an event not to missed: we will be enjoying the evening at ESCAPE, with FREE cocktails, courtesy of Weil Gotshal Manges. The event will be a chance to meet potential employers and enjoy some fine cocktails in a relaxed environment. The night will be popular, so bring your membership cards and arrive early to avoid the queues!
