I am the ecumenical rep of the John Wesley Society, a student and young persons' society based at Wesley Memorial Church (though not just for Methodists).

I am emailing to see if anyone would be interested in getting involved in planning an Interfaith week, probably to take place next Hilary Term. The kind of ideas I have in mind so far are a series of speaker events and discussions, maybe a charity fundraiser and something more social, maybe an interfaith meal. However, to be successful I think such a venture needs to be organised by a group of people of various faiths.

Ideally I'd like to get people together to discuss some ideas before everyone goes home for the end of term and it would be great to have a representative from each society if possible. (With this number of people we should also be able to split the organising into small chunks that won't take up too much of anyone's time!)
