We will be holding a poll of the potential films so YOU can vote what to watch.

I'm Prakrit, your new Secretary for this year. Hopefully you've all settled back in, and are ready for the exciting term we have planned for you! The new 2k19 HumSoc Committee has been working hard to deliver some great social events as well as weekly aartis and Gita study sessions! See below for details about this week :)

Hello Everyone!

Hope the term has been great and good luck for the final 2 weeks!!! On Behalf of the Humsoc committee, I would like to thank you all once again for showing unprecedented levels of support for Diwali Ball and OxHoli which have helped us raise a huge sum of money for charity. We hope that this will be bettered in the coming year and we are now opening applications for the next committee commencing their term in Hilary 2019. 

If you would like to be involved more heavily with Humsoc and have great new ideas for events, this is your opportunity to grasp. 

We will also have our final Aarti of the term next wednesday which would include a special guest speaker. More details to follow on the HUMSOC page.

Hey Everyone!

Hope you have all had wonderful Diwali week/weekend. On behalf on Humsoc, I would like to thank each and every one of you who came down to the Diwali Ball to make the event such a success. Thanks to yours enthusiasm, we have raised a sizeable amount for charity. 

Following the success of Diwali Aarti, Humsoc is bringing back the weekly aartis for all of you seeking some divine blessings on a weekly basis. Refer to the section below for more details.

It was great seeing a whole lot of fresh faces as well as our returning members at last week's mulakaat which has really set the tone for the coming year. Our Jam packed calendar continues this week with multiple spot sales and a special Pre-drinks session set for the bollywood bop. Make sure to come down, pick up some ball tickets and party with your fellow desi folk

Hope the freshers have settled in and our returning members have gotten back into the swing of things. Brace yourself because HumSoc's jam packed calendar of events kick start THIS FRIDAY. Get down to Keble Bar for the BIGGEST SOUTH ASIAN SOCIAL of the term and pick up Diwali Ball tickets ( WITHOUT THE BOOKING FEE) while munching on some samosas. More details in this email.

Do note that Diwali Ball ticket prices INCLUDE FREE LUXURY COACH TRAVEL to and from the venue on the night.

Hello everyone!

Hope you have all had a wonderful summer and are refreshed heading into the new academic year. Welcome back to our old members and welcome to those who have just joined us. You will need all the energy to handle the host of events we have planned out for this term. Expect Bollywood Bops, Socials and ofcourse the annual Diwali Ball which promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Tickets for Diwali are selling fast and all the early birds are already gone! Get your tickets ASAP to avoid disappointment. We will be doing our first Mulakat soon in conjunction with other South Asian Societies and Oxford Brookes.

Hello HUMFOLK!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful easter break and are feeling refreshed to take on Trinity. As usual HUMSOC has many events lined up this term to ease the exam stress keep the spirits up. Our much anticipated Holi event OXHOLI is just a couple of weeks away. Mark your calendars and bring everyone you know to the biggest Holi hosted in Oxford yet. OXHOLI isn't the only thing we have lined up, we also have our own HOLI BOP happening next week as well!! Refer below for more details.

Hey Humfolk,

We are nearly at the end of term and we hope everyone has had a wonderful Hilary. Things are not over yet with Holi fast approaching, HUMSOC is committed to making our members feel at home this week. Make sure to come down to the first Aarti of the term this Wednesday in lieu of Holi. As mentioned in the previous mailout, we also have the exciting Holi Bop to look forward to before we head home for Easter. Here is a look at all the events to look forward to this week.
