It will be held in Balliol's Bajpai Room at 8pm
Can't wait to see you all there

The event will run like a mini-charities Freshers' Fair with drinks and music, providing a relaxed atmosphere for students to find out more about all the charities that are members of the Oxford Hub, and an opportunity for everyone to meet each other.

The Oxford Union will be hosting a Fair Fashion Sample Sale in association with the Oxford Students Fairtrade Coalition. It will be an exciting opportunity for ethical companies to showcase and sell their products to the people of Oxford, a ‘Fairtrade City’.
All the companies attending the Sale hold ethical policies such as a commitment to using recycled materials and sourcing ethically produced materials, including organic cotton. Many have substituted sweatshop labour for fair working conditions and produce Fairtrade Foundation certified products, which have met strict ethical standards.
18 fantastic companies will be attending, including:
People Tree - the pioneering fair trade and ecological fashion company which has sold its ranges in the high-street favourite, Topshop.
Yum Yum Shoes - the most ethical feel-good footwear around incorporating materials such as chrome-free leathers, recycled car seats, tweed jackets, parachutes, prison blankets and coffee bags!
Ting London - a company established by Inghua Ting in 2000, selling chic recycled accessories reinvented from vintage leather belts, saddles and gentlemen's braces.
The Hemp Trading Company (THTC) - 100% organic cotton t-shirts created under fair working conditions in factories that are regularly monitored. Endorsed by many underground DJs and MCs!
Howies - activity sportswear for the eco-conscious with 70% off at the event!
