TODAY! Entrepreneur of the Year 2012- Vin Murria, Founder of Advanced Computer Software Group - FREE Speaker Event

E-mail sent by James May, Friday, 19th October 2012 @ 11:54am

Reminder: 4PM Today (Friday 19th October), T.S Eliot Theatre (Merton College), Vin Murria, Founder of Advanced Computer Software Group speaks to Oxford Entrepreneurs

This is a reminder that today's speaker event starts promptly at 4pm today and will last until 5pm, and will be held at the T.S Eliot Theatre college of Merton College. There will be signage from Merton College Porters lodge to direct attendees to the T.S Eliot Theatre. There will be free wine, drinks and nibbles after the event ends at 5pm.

Vin Murria was named CISCO Woman of the Year 2012, and Vin has also recently been named Entrepreneur of the Year 2012 at the AIM Awards. Sponsored by PwC, the AIM Awards identify and reward the quoted companies and entrepreneurs who have harnessed AIM - the London Stock Exchange’s international market for smaller growing companies - to help them fulfil their ambition and growth potential over the last twelve months.

Vin was named Entrepreneur of the Year by a distinguished judging panel from the UK financial investment community. To win the accolade, Vin had to demonstrate that her vision, flair, drive and business acumen is driving AIM-quoted Advanced Computer Software Group forward at a pace impossible without access to AIM’s investor funding base. The award also acknowledged the supportive management team behind Vin’s success.

Vin Murria, CEO of Advanced Computer Software Group, says, “It is an honour to be named AIM’s Entrepreneur of the Year. Advanced has grown from zero to close to £110 million revenue in just a few years with a market cap of £230 million. None of this would have been possible without the dedication and drive of the Advanced team.”
