OXCIA stands for Oxford Chinese International Awareness. It is a vibrant, inclusive society that aims to promote an interest in Chinese culture within Oxford University. Anyone with any interest in Chinese culture is encouraged to come to our events, and we’re here to foster this interest, give advice and answer questions. We regularly organize speaker events, museum visits and free mandarin lessons as education is an integral part of promoting cultural awareness. In addition, we also hold orient-themed parties, food-related events, film nights, festival celebrations, and trips to China.
