Table Tennis AGM

E-mail newsletter sent by Chris Pigott, Tuesday 11th May 2010 @ 6:29pm

Hi all.

I hope term is going well and preparation for exams isn't too stressful.

Tomorrow at 9pm in the Turf pub, the table tennis committee will be holding its annual AGM.  If you have any views about the running of the club or would be interested in running for a committee position for next year, please come along.  Bering on the committee is an easy way to add to your CV and is important for the future success of the club.

In particular, we need a new webmaster to update the current website.

If you can not attend, but are interested in being on the committee or have any other thoughts about the club, don't hesitate to email me.

Many thanks.

Chris Pigott
(Vice-President and Secretary)

Hi everyone,
Welcome back!! Hope everyone had a nice relaxing holiday, and are ready for the new term. Table tennis is back tonight-4.30-7.00 in the Cricket Schools.
I can't make it (finals revision is getting in the way slightly!!) but hope that plenty of you will be there!

practice tonight

E-mail newsletter sent by Sarah Booth, Sunday 7th March 2010 @ 1:23pm

Hi everyone,
So, tonight is the last Sunday practice of term-wow its gone quickly!!! There is a practice on tonight, 4.30-7.00 in the cricket schools as usual. However, the people who we order new balls from have messed up and have not delivered the balls that I ordered two weeks ago. This means that we are VERY short of balls for the practice today. I'm not entirely sure how many there are, but there are not many, so if you have your own balls than you might want to bring them along for a hit. I am on the phone with the ball people to try and sort it out, and we should have them by Thursday (hopefully!)

NO PRACTICE TOMORROW

E-mail newsletter sent by Sarah Booth, Saturday 27th February 2010 @ 4:32pm

Hi everyone,
As we have our Varsity match in the cricket schools tomorrow, there will be no practice session. If anyone wants to come and watch us take on the tabs, then the match will begin at 12.30, and probably go on until around 7pm, there will be seats, and some support would be welcome!!

PRACTICE TONIGHT

E-mail newsletter sent by Sarah Booth, Sunday 21st February 2010 @ 1:16pm

Hi everyone,
Practice is on tonight as usual, 4.30-7.00 in the cricket schools. However, it is the individual championships in Nottingham this weekend, so most of the committee have gone there. This means that there may not be anyone to get the keys and open up. If you ask at the desk when you arrive they will be able to tell you whether or not the keys for the building and our cupboard have gone.
One more thing, we are very short of balls at the moment, (there are some more being delivered, but they wont be here until next week) so please be aware of this and try not to break them! I realise that accidents happen, but we are going through balls at an alarming rate!!
I should be able to make the end of the session, but I have rowing, so might not make it.

Sarah

p.s. another advanced warning: we have our varsity match next Sunday, so there will be NO OPEN PRACTICE NEXT SUNDAY EVENING although, if you want to come down and watch, it would be great to have the support.
