Oxford University Rugby Football Club was founded in 1869, two years before the RFU and is one of the premier student rugby club’s in the world. The most important fixture of the year is the Varsity Match played against our old rivals Cambridge University at Twickenham in December. The club currently run four sides every week - the Blues, Greyhounds, Under 21’s and Whippets and coordinate twenty four college sides who play league and cup rugby during Michaelmas and Hilary Terms.
