Monday, 6th February 2012 at 6:30pm - 7:30pm
Location:Harris Lecture Theatre, Oriel College
This event is in the past.
How do we measure the impact of different charities?
Which charities should we give to if we want to maximise the impact of our donation?
How should we treat risk, and future generations?
Rossa O'Keeffe-O'Donovan of Giving What We Can, discusses the challenges inherent in measuring impacts, and presents some of the most interesting, and surprising, research from recent economic impact evaluation studies.
This event will be followed by an optional roundtable discussion co-hosted with the Whately Society on the role charity should play in modern life (7.45pm - 9.00pm, MacGregor Room, Oriel College).
