Don't miss this opportunity to explore a real, workable and growing ethical alternative to interest-based finance and banking.

Guest speakers Tarek Diwany and Sufyan Ismail will each give 30 minute presentations, with the opportunity for discussion afterwards, followed by refreshments and coffee. All are welcome to come to what should be an informative and entertaining evening.

Tarek Diwany: Now an Islamic finance and banking consultant, Tarek Diwany worked in bond derivatives in the City before setting up his own Islamic finance consultancy. Author of the successful The Problem with Interest, he will be talking about interest, its historical origins and the consequences of it's current day application.

Sufyan Ismail: Founder of 1st Ethical, the leading ethical financial advisor and winner of Shell LiveWire's award for the fastest growing UK company, Sufyan will explore how interest free alternatives can, and have been, workably applied.
