In week 3 OUIFS are running events with Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Citi, Sankaty Advisors, and Barclays Capital all designed to give you excellent networking opportunities, improve your CV and covering letters, and help you make an informed career choice. Please see all the event information below and be aware that the Citi M&A Case Study on Wednesday has a maximum capacity of 50 so please email judd.fischer@pmb.ox.ac.uk to confirm your place. Applications for the Goldman Sachs event on Monday are now closed but we are hosting a CV Workshop with Barclays Capital on Friday that will cover some of the key points raised on Monday. 1. Goldman Sachs Commercial Awareness Presentation @ The Mure Room, Merton College, Monday 19:00Those of you who emailed Joanna Li last week to reserve your place will have been informed about the event details. Your details will be passed onto the Human Resources team of Goldman Sachs.
Please arrive at the Mure Room at Merton College at 6.45pm for a 7.00pm start on 27th Oct 2008. Please bear in mind that the Mure Room is about 5 minutes walking distance from the entrance of Merton college, it is advised that you arrive Merton at 6.40pm.

Barclays Capital CV Workshop and Interview Guide @ The Old Dining Room, Teddy Hall, Friday 15:30-17:00Representatives from Barclays Capital will be giving a hands on guide to how to perfect your CV and perform well in your interviews. This will be a great opportunity for anyone applying for graduate, first year, or summer positions whether it be in finance, consulting, or law. Please note the early afternoon time. Due to the nature of the event, only 40 spaces are available so please email carina.namih@queens.ox.ac.uk to reserve a place.
