Sloane Robinson LLP is one of the largest London-based global hedge fund management companies, specialising in absolute return equity investment in Europe, Asia and Emerging Markets. Our firm was established in 1993 and manages over US$10bn. We employ a total of 60 people, of which 25 work on the investment team, and our clients include high net worth individuals, private banks, funds of funds, charities and endowments.

We are looking for a select number of graduates to join our investment team as equity analysts working alongside expert and junior investors. Your role is to help us identify investment candidates listed on stock markets around the world. These would typically be well-managed companies with strong market position and growth prospects whose current stock market valuation does not reflect their long term potential. Graduates will attend meetings with corporate management teams, prepare write-ups of investment candidates, undertake valuation work, and travel with investment team members.

We think that the job will be attractive to students who had not otherwise considered financial services. This is because our ‘style’ is more academic and fundamental than you might find at other organisations. Our relatively small size also makes for a collegiate and collaborative atmosphere. Compensation is extremely competitive, comparable with bulge bracket grad programmes.

We will be hosting a presentation on Tuesday 14th October (1st Week) at Keble College at 7:30pm. This event gives interested students the opportunity to find out about Sloane Robinson through a brief presentation. They will also have the chance to speak to recently hired graduates as well as senior partners of the firm informally over drinks and snacks.
