Oliver Wyman lecture series- Lecture 1, Thursday 2nd week

Thursday, 23rd October 2008 @ 6pm

Thinking about applying for a job or internship next summer, but not sure your
business knowledge is up to scratch?

Heard about global economic gloom and doom, but not sure how to approach it in
an interview?

Or just interested in why Gordon Brown's been ordering so many Indian takeaways?

Never fear, all these questions and more will be answered this Thursday evening
(23rd October), 6-8pm in the Garden Quad Auditorium, St John's College, by a
series of industry experts from Oliver Wyman, as part of the "Oliver Wyman
presents" lecture series.

The first lecture, entitled "The economic outlook: The news behind the
headlines" will give you a background on the major trends affecting today's
economy and how to approach these commercial issues when preparing for
interview. Each lecture consists of a 40 minute presentation, followed by Q&A
and informal drinks.

Watch this space for more information on the rest of the series ("The Rising
Cost of Living" - Tuesday 4th November at the Said; "Bursting the Credit
Bubble" - Tuesday 11th November at the Said).
