There will be an exhibition in the Whitworth Hall between 10am and 2pm. Here Faculty staff will be able to advise you on the variety of courses available within your chosen subject area as well as general information and guidance on study. You will also be able to gain valuable advice on postgraduate funding and careers as well as information about life as a postgraduate student from various University support services.

A series of short talks will also run between 10.30am and 1.30pm, covering a range of subjects of interest to anyone thinking of undertaking postgraduate study.

School events

Each academic School within the University will be hosting an information session in the afternoon of the open day. Once you have registered you will be sent further information about the timings and content of the School events. During these sessions there will be the opportunity to gain more specific information about the course or subject area you are interested as well as to talk to staff and students.

The majority of these will run in the afternoon, although actual times of each session will be detailed in the programme of events which will be sent to you once you have registered for the event.
