Founded in 1872, and playing its first game against Radley College on 10th February of that year, Oxford University Association Football Club is one of the University’s oldest and most prestigious clubs.
OUAFC consists of two men’s University teams which compete in the BUSA league: the Blues (first team) and Centaurs (second team). Both teams also play several friendly fixtures during the season, including matches against Oxford United and Oxford City, and traditional fixtures such as the annual matches again the Amateur Football Alliance. The climax of the season is the Varsity match against Cambridge University.
Spectators are welcome at all of our matches: see our web site for further details. Home matches are played at Iffley Road athletic stadium. If you think you’re good enough to play for the university, get in touch with your college captain or see the web site for contact details.
