The goal of the Oxford University United Nations Association (OUUNA) is to promote awareness of the United Nations, other multilateral international organisations, and international affairs in general. Much of our focus is on Model United Nations (MUN). In addition to hosting OxIMUN, one of Europe's premiere MUN conferences, OUUNA conducts weekly MUN debates and send delegates to conferences worldwide. However, we are not just an MUN society. OUUNA also hosts interesting guest speakers and debate dinners every term. If you are at all interested in international relations or debate, there is a place for you in OUUNA!

Trinity Term 2014 Committee Positions
President-elect (President in Michaelmas Term 2014):
The president-elect is responsible for preparing events for Michaelmas Term 2014, assisting and supporting the President for Trinity Term 2014, Sandra el-Hadi, and leading the committee in directing the society as a whole. Outgoing President: Paul Lau (email@example.com)

The secretary’s duties include re-registering the society with the proctors, taking minutes at committee meetings, and maintaining the society's membership list. Outgoing: Marielena Doeding (email@example.com)
Treasurer-elect (Treasurer in Michaelmas Term 2014):
The treasurer is expected to maintain the society's accounts and oversee the budget during their term. In Michaelmas Term, the treasurer should assist the Treasurer and work on the society’s sponsorship and prepare . The debating officer is responsible for the weekly MUN debates; including study guides and chairing. This role requires one to organise and execute the debates that the society holds on a weekly basis. Outgoing: Alex Pike (firstname.lastname@example.org)
External Conferences Coordinator:
The external conferences coordinator organises Oxford delegations to MUN conferences. They will communicate with conference organisers and ensure that Oxford can present a good and capable delegation. IT & Publicity Officer
The IT and publicity officer is responsible for publicising society events, including MUNday Debates and Social Events, and organising events to raise the profile of the UN, its organs and its activities within the university. Social Events Officer:
