Oxford University Heraldry Society

About this group

This Society is nearly one and three-quarter centuries old, but like King Arthur it has been dormant.
Now it is ready once again to help us all to delight in and to study the many colourful ways in which kings and yeomen, nations and colleges, regiments and churchmen, have chosen to symbolise themselves and their pretensions over the centuries.
Come and join us for lectures - both learned and frivolous - for visits and excursions, and for whatever else you think a Heraldry Society should do.
Add a little colour to your life.
