The Oxford Millennium Orchestra was founded in Trinity 1999 by Benjamin Wolf, who read Classics at Univ and graduated in 2000. Ben has since studied conducting at Trinity, London and now runs the chamber group the Wallace Ensemble. Nick Mumby took over as Principal Conductor in Trinity 2000, later appointing Tom Gauterin as Principal Guest Conductor. Early highlights include a debut at the Turl Street Arts Festival and performances of Beethoven’s third and first piano concerti by Alexei Galea and Nick himself.
