Welcome to the Oxford Indian Society (OIS), one of the prominent student-run country-based communities in Oxford!

The OIS is dedicated to all Indian students and students of Indian origin in Oxford and anyone who wishes to enjoy celebrating the diverse culture of India. OIS activities are centered on promoting Indian culture- the rich traditions, festivals, the food, the art and film, the music and so on. It also provides perfect platform to increase understanding of current issues related to political, economic, social and cultural developments in India.

Freshers' Party 2008

To celebrate the end of a successful Week 1 of Michelmas 2008 and to get
to meet a whole new set of people, we would like to invite you to a
"Fresher's party" to  be held on the 18th of October.

Where: Vernon Harcourt room, St Hilda's college

When: Saturday 18th October, 7pm onwards.

How much: Free! It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to Oxford, with
a wide range of snacks and drinks- all on the house!

It promises to be a fun-filled and extremely entertaining evening, with a wide
range of snacks like samosas and bhajias, and a well stocked bar!
