Oxford Development Abroad is a student run charity that works to harness the energy, enthusiasm and resources of the Oxford student body to assist with small-scale, community-initiated development projects in the developing world.
Our main work takes place in communities in the developing world. Currently we have projects in Nepal, Uganda, and Morocco, and we have previously also worked in Guatemala and Senegal. However, we also do a lot of work in Oxford, from training and fundraising, to raising awareness, promoting understanding and fostering discussion of development issues in the local student and resident community.
We are currently recruiting volunteers for Summer 2009 projects, please visit our website to find out more. (www.odauk.org)
