There is free parking on the road side directly outside of the park or in neighbouring roads
The site of Northbrook Park was a field known as the Ten-Acre-Field, although in fact it was nearer nine acres, the field formed part of the Baring estates in Lee, and in 1898 Lord Northbrook offered to present it for public use, in commemoration of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. A sundial marks Lord Northbrook's gift.
We have a football pitch at the park with two goals and a path the whole way around the open grass area, we have a dog excercise area at the back of the park and a gated off childrens playarea at the front.
Memorial Benches There are a wide range of benches available made of high quality tough coated steal and can come with a plaque and inscription.
The cost of a memorial bench ranges from approximately £400 to £950 depending on the style. For further information please do not hesitate to contact us. We can advise on the type and cost of benches as well as a suitable site in the park.
