Representatives of the UK Gambling Commission posted an open access guide for gambling licensees. The main thesis that the regulator is trying to convey is to minimize panic due to the negative impact of coronavirus on the country's gambling market.

At this stage, according to members of the commission, licensees should provide maximum control measures in order to comply with the terms of the license. So, if necessary, there is a need to staff the staff.
It is also known that if the gambling operator cannot guarantee compliance with the standard for the provision of services, its work should be stopped. Due to the new rules of distance, a huge part of the staff will be transferred to homework. In turn, operators must ensure the quality of services, especially the principles of responsible gambling, fencing of gambling addicts.
The crisis caused by the new virus types will negatively affect the results of the gambling operators, but this, according to the regulator’s employees, is not a reason for neglect in protecting the rights of consumers, gambling addicts and minors.
Now the regulator does not have the opportunity to consider applications for licenses, and the agency cannot reduce fees.
