Are you interested in competitive sports? Do you fancy your chances at becoming the next Wayne Rooney? PBL group bonding? Or do you just want to have a bit of fun whilst raising money for charity?
The MMSC are hosting The Winter 5-a-side Football Tournament, 2008 ★ OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS ★ (last year a group of dentists almost caused a catastrophic uproar!). More importantly, all proceeds from the tournament will be going to charity. Details:

WHEN: Sunday 7th December 08, 10:30-14:00
WHERE: Astroturf, Armitage Centre, Fallowfield
COST: £5 per player, substitutes highly recommended

The cost of each player is £5, and we guarantee you at least 2 hours tournament footy on great astroturf... and more if you reach the playoffs! The prize is a crate of Strongbow and crucially, a tournament trophy!
We highly recommend substitutes! Last year a hopeful team were destroyed due to fitness problems (and no subs)! Girls are welcome and if enough girls teams turn up, we will run a separate tournament.

Teams MUST be paid and registered by Fri 5th Dec Please email info@mmsc.org.uk with your teamname, player list and course/year/base hospital. We will then arrange payment to your closest MMSC rep.

This year we are supporting Talbot House, a local charity dedicated to children and adults with learning disabilities. You may have already seen posters dotted around Stopford and base hospitals. All profits are charitable, so don't be shy!
