Mission Statement
As a leading global management consultancy, our goal is to help leaders make distinctive, lasting and substantial improvements in performance and constantly build a great firm that attracts, develops, excites and retains exceptional people.

Internship Vacancies, deadlines and application procedures We do not currently offer internships or placements in the London or Dublin offices. However as an alternative we offer our Discover Programme. This two day, all expenses paid, residential event is available to all non-finalist undergraduates and will be held during the spring break. You will get the chance to experience the way we help clients solve problems through an interactive and realistic business scenario. Please visit www.mckinsey.co.uk from the 2nd January 2009 for more information about this event and how to apply.

There are some offices that do offer internships so it is best to contact offices directly to find out what opportunities are available. Please note that you will need to speak the local language. Dubai is the only office where there is no language restriction. For office specific opportunities please see www.mckinsey.com.

Graduate recruitment vacancies, deadlines and application procedures
Each year McKinsey hires a number of outstanding graduates, masters and PhD students from a diverse range of academic disciplines. Our graduate trainees are known as “business analysts”. Typically a business analyst candidate would be studying for an undergraduate or masters degree, or is a graduate with business related work experience. The business analyst programme is an initial 24 month programme and is designed to be an exciting and fulfilling role into the world of strategy consultancy. On completion of the programme, there are a number of career paths open to business analysts - educational leave, role outside of McKinsey often with former clients or alumni, or a combination of the two – all of which allow former business analysts to return to McKinsey as an associate. On rejoining, former business analysts often experience accelerated progression due to their prior experience and many former business analysts go on to become partners.

Junior associates are those who have limited business experience or higher graduate degrees, such as a PhD, but not a MBA.

Associates are typically those that have significant work experience and come directly from industry, a MBA, or a combination of the two.

To apply for any of the above roles, please attach your covering letter and CV on-line at www.mckinsey.co.uk. Successful applicants will typically have a minimum AAB at A-Level (or equivalent) and a minimum of a 2.1 degree (expected or actual) in any discipline.

We have two deadline dates for our milkround recruitment:

9th November 2008
16th November 2008

If you would like to apply to an international office and/or multiple offices please apply by the early deadline. If you are interested in London only please apply by the later deadline.

However we do accept applications all year round.
