Founded in 2008, Manchester Entrepreneurs was set up to create and educate a community of future business and society leaders. Today, the community has flourished and comprises over 2100 members, being one of the largest student societies in the UK. Our past members range from successful business and social entrepreneurs to high performing employees of successful SMEs and FTSE100 companies.
Our goal is to provide our members with access to information, mentors and funds by working very closely with Manchester Enterprise Centre and universities in Manchester. We organize speaker series and workshops focused on developing valuable business skills and giving our members opportunity to gain practical experience. On top of that, Manchester Entrepreneurs have founded the first business and enterprise focused university publication which is printed in 5000 copies every term and have hosted National Student Enterprise Conference organized by NACUE in 2011.
We are currently working with both local and national organisation. Our main working partners are Manchester Enterprise Centre, Manchester University Career Service, Manchester Business School, MMU Innospace, Make Your Mark, NACUE and NCGE (National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship).
