Mark your calendars. The "Little Roy & Lizzy Show" is returning to the Kenbridge Community Center Auditorium on May 12th at 7:00 P.M. sponsored by the Lunenburg County Chamber of Commerce.
Their always popular show features Little Roy Lewis who's won awards as an entertainer as well as for his banjo playing. USA Today called Little Roy "a banjo master, truly a picker's picker."
Also featured is Lizzy Long who plays the fiddle, banjo and guitar and sings. Lizzy has won numerious awards including "Bluegrass Song of the Year" and recently the CMA Dove Award for a duet with Rhonda Vincent entitled "God is There." Little Roy summed it up "pull a plank off the wall and she'll play it."

Join us for Community Meetings to help shape the long-term vision for the Lunenburg/Kenbridge/Victoria Comprehensive Plan update.
Each meeting is intended to inform citizens about the activities completed so far on the comprehensive plan and provide citizens an opportunity to provide input into the long term vision for the future.
Meetings are scheduled for January 30th and February 22nd and 27th. [More]
Citizen of the Year: Dawn Conrad
Ms. Conrad supports our area and its businesses. She is a member of the quilting club and the wine club. She helped install a garden at the elementary school. She goes to, and supports, all town events. nnn

Business of the Year: Smith Pharmacy & Home Healthcare of Kenbridge
Smith’s Pharmacy has been in business for more than half-a-century. It has two full-time pharmacists and four full time employees. They also have three teenagers who work there after school and on weekends.
They help customers find the best price for their prescription or over-the-counter medication and are always available to help the patient understand everything they’ve been prescribed. Smith’s Pharmacy actively supports the local rescue squads, fire departments and schools.
