KEEN is an organisation that provides activities for young people (4-25+ year olds) with special needs. We run an over 18s social club on a Monday evening, an arts and drama club for under 18s on a Friday afternoon, a social club for teenagers on a Friday evening and a sports session for everyone on Saturday afternoons. We also do lots of special events like day trips and holiday activities.

Hello!

Welcome to the final KEEN review of this year, which is just bursting full with all the exciting end of term festivities we have planned at KEEN over the next couple of days – it would be great to see lots of people coming along to sessions to help us see out the year in style!

We really, really need LOTS of volunteers for the Olympics on Saturday, as it’s the biggest event of the KEEN year, join us for what will be an afternoon full of fun!

A massive thank you to everyone that has come along to a session over the past week, especially to those that came along to our Alice in Wonderland themed Allsorts last Saturday and helped make it extra fun and to everyone that came to the GrEAT Hawaiian party on Monday and made sure that GrEAT ended the year on a high!

The final review would normally be where I would announce my successor but for those of you that don’t know, I am actually staying as co-ordinator of KEEN for another year – so you will have to put up with me for a little longer! With, a bit of luck next year will be even more exciting and jam packed full of fun!

Thank you to each and every one of you that have come along to KEEN this year, your help has been much appreciated KEEN simply could not run without you all and all of your enthusiasm! Thank you for making this year at KEEN so fantastic!

This week’s sessions:

Friday, 18th June: Zig-Zag: End of term performance: join us for a montage of this term’s Myths and Legends themed sessions, this Friday, 4.45-6pm at the St. Clement’s Family Centre.

Friday, 18th June: KEEN Teens: End of term Party! Help us celebrate the end of term, this Friday, 6.10-7.15pm at the St. Clement’s Family Centre.

Saturday, 19th June: KEEN Olympics, the end of year finale! Join us for the highlight of the KEEN calendar, 1.45-5pm, New College Sports Ground. We NEED LOTS of Volunteers, so join us for an afternoon packed full of fun!

New volunteers are always welcome!

Saturday, 19th June: KEEN End of year social! Those of you that haven’t signed up for the end of year social are more than welcome to join us for drinks. We’ll be at Café Coco, on Park End Street, from 7.30pm onwards.

KEEN Review: Zig-Zag, KEEN Teens football special, a very special Allsorts and GrEAT end of year party! Get ready for the KEEN Olympics and sign up now for the end of year social!

Hello!

Welcome to another jam packed edition of the KEEN review – as it’s the penultimate weekend of term there’s lots of exciting things going on! A massive thank you to everyone that has come along to KEEN over the past week; I really hope you enjoyed yourselves!

Fortunately the weather is looking good for Saturday; it would be great to see lots of people at Allsorts this week, where our activities will have an Alice in Wonderland themed twist, read on for more details. Join us from 1.45-5pm at New College Sports Ground.

Make sure you read on for all the exciting details about what’s happening at KEEN over the next few days – we have some really exciting sessions planned including an extra special Allsorts session and the GrEAT end of term party! As well as advanced notice of the end of year finale the KEEN Olympics!

This week’s sessions:

Friday, 11th June: Zig-Zag, 4.45-6pm at the St. Clement’s Family Centre.

Friday, 11th June: KEEN Teens, 6.10-7.15pm at the St. Clement’s Family Centre.

Saturday, 12th June: Allsorts, 1.45-5pm at New College Sports Ground – if you can only make it to one session this week make it Allsorts, the biggest session of the KEEN week.
*No sporting ability required, just enthusiasm and energy!*

Monday, 14th June: The last GrEAT of the year! 7.30pm-9.30pm at the St. Clement’s Family Centre

Remember volunteering with KEEN is completely non-commitment, you really can come along as little or as often as you like and there’s no experience necessary, just enthusiasm!
New volunteers are always welcome!

KEEN Extra:

Saturday, 19th June: KEEN Olympics, the end of year finale! Join us for the highlight of the KEEN calendar, 1.45-5pm, New College Sports Ground.

Saturday, 19th June: End of year Party! After the Olympics we will be having a party for the coaches, starting with a meal at Cafe Coco, sign up by WEDNESDAY 16th if you would like to join us!

Hello!

Welcome another exciting edition of the KEEN review – which is just bursting with fun things for you get involved with! A huge thank you to everyone that has come along to KEEN over the past week; as always I really hope you enjoyed yourselves!

A massive thank you to everyone that came along to the KEEN fun run on Sunday – it turned out to be a lovely morning and one that was enjoyed by everyone that attended – whether they were taking part, helping out or cheering everyone along! If you missed it, why not catch up on what went on by reading the Fun Run section later in the review – which even has a link to an article by the Oxford Mail, where there are some great pictures of the event.

With the weather looking good for Saturday, it would be great to see lots of people at Allsorts this week. Join us from 1.45-5pm at New College Sports Ground.

Welcome to yet another jam packed KEEN review, a massive thank you to everyone that has come along to a session over the past week; I really hope you enjoyed yourself!

Thank you to everyone that came along to a very sunny Allsorts last Saturday afternoon, instead of Allsorts this Saturday we will be having our annual Treasure Hunt in the University Parks, which this year will be themed around the fantasy and fun of Alice in Wonderland! The Treasure Hunt is one of the highlights of the KEEN calendar so we need lots of volunteers, so why not join us for what is sure to be an afternoon full of fun?

Make sure you read on for all the exciting details of what is going on at KEEN over the next few days – as usual we have some really exciting sessions planned!

Friday, 28th May: Zig-Zag, 4.45-6pm at the St. Clement’s Family Centre.

KEEN Mini Review: The BIG KEEN weekend - join us this weekend for lots of KEEN fun!

Join us this weekend for what is sure to be the biggest and most exciting KEEN weekend of the year so far!

Hello everyone!

This weekend at KEEN we have two brilliant events planned, the annual KEEN Treasure Hunt on Saturday in the University Parks and the KEEN Fun run taking place on Sunday in the University Parks, so go on join us for what is sure to be a weekend packed full of KEEN fun!!

And if that isn't enough there is a KEEN social sandwiched in between just to add to the KEEN fun! If you would like to join us for a meal at Pizza Express you can sign up by emailing keen@keenoxford.org
