Green Deal helps to make the energy-saving improvements to your home and is the best way to pay for them.
The Infographic titled as “The Green Deal: Energy Saving For Your Home” explains about how this green deal works.
The Green Deal works in the following way:
An accredited Green Deal Assessor visits your property, carries out the assessment and recommends you the measures.
You then need to get a quote from a Green Deal Provider.
Sign up to package of measures with a Green Deal Provider which is financed by a Green Deal Plan.
Green Deal Provider then arranges for an accredited installer in order to visit and carry out the work.
The accredited installer carries out improvements to the property.
Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is then updated to reflect the improvements.
The Green Deal Provider notifies the electricity supply company and the repayments are collected through electricity bills.
Once the repayments complete, the charge ends.
