Jesus College Chapel Choir leads the service of Choral Evensong every Sunday in Full Term. Our role is to sing settings of the Responses, Canticles and Anthem, and to lead the congregation in the Psalm and Hymns. Every term we sing a wide variety of music by composers from the 16th to the 20th centuries.

Within the academic year there are special services, such as the Service of Music and Readings for Advent, the St. David’s Day Service (sung entirely in Welsh) and the Commemoration of Benefactors Service. The Choir tour regularly, both at home and abroad. In recent years the Choir has been to Switzerland, Ireland, Wales, Germany, the Czech Republic, Portsmouth, Rochester and St. Paul’s Cathedrals, and this summer will be touring Rome including Santa Maria Maggiore and St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City.
