Assalaamu alaykum,
As we approach the end of May, I hope that we can all keep each other in our thoughts and prayers.
We ask Allah (swt) that everyone does as well as they are capable of in exams, and, whatever plan we may have for our own futures, ultimately, it's crucial to have absolute faith in God as the best of planners (8:30).

Assalaamu alaykum,
As we enter the blessed month of Rajab we request that Allah (swt) sends His blessings upon all those studying for their examinations in Cambridge (plus Girton and Homerton).
We are all reminded that the Shura and the new Welfare subcommittee are on hand to help anyone feeling at all edgy. None of us should despair of God's help or mercy: such times are nothing if not a potent reminder of the day when people shall abandon their own families in fear for their fate (80:34-6).

Assalaamu alaykum,
As we enter the month of May, let's seek to keep each other - as well as all those oppressed around the world - in our thoughts and prayers.
You'll be pleased to note that this email won't contain any 'Come to this event to have a break from revision' type statements that have the effect of making the reader feel guilty! At a time like this, though, we should remember that God's door is always open, and that if we remember Him, He most certainly will not (metaphorically) forget us.
