AfriCHI2018 conference (3rd-7th December 2018, Windhoek, Namibia) in collaboration with IPID is organizing a Doctoral and Masters Consortia.

The Doctoral and Masters Consortia provide an opportunity for students to discuss their work, and to explore and develop their research interests in an interdisciplinary workshop guided by a panel of distinguished researchers and practitioners. The consortia are pivotal in growing the AfriCHI community.

Submissions are invited from Doctoral and Masters candidates who have decided upon a topic and approach and can demonstrate some research progress, but who are not so far along that they cannot make changes. The strongest candidates will also have a clear idea about what they will gain and may contribute by participating in the Consortia.

Students should submit the following four items either via the online submission system or by email to consortia at africhi dot net with the subject line “AfriCHI2018 Doctoral and Masters Consortia”. All four items should be submitted as a single PDF file:
- Four Page SigConf Template
- Concise CV/Resume
- Statement of Benefit
- Letter of Support/Nomination

Full details can be obtained on the Africhi Website:

I've been to a similar event, and I can say that it's interesting. After that, I've has a lot of ideas for my research on animal testing, and in collaboration with the phdessay platform, I've done it successfully. I like that this resource has informative content. I hope that such events will be held more often.
